Louisville's City Council will weigh a potential ballot measure in coming weeks that would allow the city to explore its own broadband internet service - a progressively popular choice as more Colorado cities eschew the confines of traditional internet options. If approved by council, and eventually voters, the measure would give city leaders the power to examine how a potential municipal broadband system would function - providing options between three forms of community broadband: municipal, public-private or fully private.
