Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Friday that he will not call the Colorado Legislature back into a special session to address transportation funding and the soon-to-be-decimated Colorado Energy Office.
The governor said after talking to a variety of legislators and interest groupsover the past nine days that Republicans and Democrats are too far apart to realistically expect a compromise to be formed.
