Police say they arrested a man after he rammed a police cruiser with a stolen vehicle early Monday morning. Markus Whaley, 39, was arrested following a run in with police who confronted him about the stolen vehicle. About midnight Monday, police responded to a call from a Colorado Springs man who said he had found his stolen vehicle. When officers arrived at 2900 South Academy Boulevard, the man said Whaley rammed his current vehicle with the stolen automobile. When police officers tried to stop Whaley, he rammed into a police cruiser before taking off. The stolen vehicle topped out at 20 mph due to all the damage it sustained.
