Police: Man carrying cane robs Wells Fargo in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are looking for a man in his 50s who robbed a Wells Fargo before walking out of the bank carrying a cane. Police said the robber approached an employee just before 4:30 p.m. Friday at the bank on the 4100 block of North Academy Boulevard and handed a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot, police said. The robber is described to be between 50 and 60 years old and was last seen wearing a blue flannel shirt and a red baseball cap. Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
