On June 12, crews began striping bike lanes on Pikes Peak Avenue between Cascade Avenue and Corona Street — a plan the city says will enhance the city's network of safe connections for pedestrians and cyclists in the downtown area and on the Legacy Loop trail system. The new markings will reduce Pikes Peak Avenue between Nevada and Cascade avenues to one lane in each direction and designate buffered bike lanes to accommodate diagonal pull-in parking.…
